Subject: Bart likes the film loading booths to be clean

Bart likes to have the photo film loading rooms clean. TRUE STORY.

One night I entered one of the film loading chambers in the darkroom. The door closes behind me to create pure blindness. I NEATLY placed my scissors and easy-load plastic loaders on the counter, because it is total black darkness in those booths.

I popped open the film roll, and pulled out the long string of film. As I was cutting the edges, I unfortunately dropped the film onto the floor. "CRAP!" I muttered.

Opening the door to reveal light just wasn't an option, because that would expose the film. I go to the floor to feel around for the dropped film thinking it would be easy to find a long roll of opened film in the pitch black.

The quick-feel-patting-around couldn't find it. Now I figure it's time to look for it systematically. I started from one corner and patted up and down the floor in a row.

Encountering lots of other empty cases and general film junk covering the floor was time-consuming. But none of them were a long roll of film. I figure that I should just repeat my patting pattern.

Still no luck.

Okay, maybe this junk all over the floor is confusing me. I'll pick it up. I picked up each individual piece, inspected it, and neatly placed it on the shelf. My hands went through EVERY single piece of film crap on the floor. I still didn't find my roll. I should give up.

I'm really going crazy now. The pure blackness is driving my mind wack-o. Now I say out loud, "Okay, Bart, wouldn't it just be ironic if I cleaned up whole booth for you. And NOW you decide to give my roll of film back."

I continue to do the last pat-down of the whole clean floor. Sure enough, right in the middle of the floor is my roll of film! Bart stolen my film, so I would clean up the photo booth for him!

I'm quite serious when I say this: Bart hates the photo booths to be messy. So listen up students, and keep those photo booths clean or experience the wrath of Bart, the art building ghost.

(Don't even get me started on Bart and the design lab...)
